Coral Racing Ambassador, Joe Tizzard, gives us an exclusive preview on his three runners at Doncaster on Saturday, including a potential Cheltenham Festival contender with Western Knight in the Grade 2 River Don Novices' Hurdle (14:05).

12:55 Doncaster – Rock My Way

He arrived at my yard earlier this month and has come fit and ready to run. I’ve not had him long enough to put my mark on him, but he has won around Doncaster before, so we thought we’d have a go at this race. It has cut up a bit, and looking at the opposition, I think he will have a fair chance in this contest.

14:05 Doncaster – Western Knight

Although this horse suffered his first defeat over hurdles last time out at Cheltenham, it was another positive performance. He stepped up to graded action and the French horse (Jet Blue) just had a bit more experience under his belt.

I am looking forward to running him here and then we have the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle in mind at the Festival in March. It would be nice to go into the latter with a Grade Two victory under him.

15:15 Doncaster – The Changing Man

This horse has been running consistently well but has just found one better than him on his last two runs. He has lost nothing in defeat at a high level. I am sure his day will come, and hopefully, it will be in this race as there is a nice pot to play for.

He goes to Doncaster in good form at home and the track should suit him. I think he deserves to be one of the horses at the top end of the betting.
