Katalyst is a three-year-old daughter of the stallion, A’Ali, while her dam is Katalea, who was a winner in Germany.  A’Ali was a Royal Ascot winner as a two-year-old, while he also won in France and Ireland in his 12 race career for Simon & Ed Crisford.

She made her debut for the Coral Racing Club in August last year on the turf at Chepstow and went on to feature a further four times on the all-weather where she showed definite signs of improvement in different aspects each time she raced.

Following her final start of 2025 she is now on a short break and will likely return for this year's flat turf season.
