We're delighted to bring every member at the Coral Racing Club the fantastic news that our star jumps mare, Annie Mc, successfully gave birth to a healthy chestnut colt in the early hours of this morning.

Annie has been on an incredible journey in her first venture as a Broodmare, including a trip overseas to Normandy where she was paired up with top French stallion, Doctor Dino.

Martin Grassick, Stud Director at Carisbrooke, had this to say following the birth:

Annie Mc had a chestnut colt at 05:15 this morning who weighed in around 50kgs. All went well with foaling. As she had been running milk for days we gave the foal colostrum from our bank. Annie has taken to being a mother very well so far which is good news.
