WATCH: Phoenix Of Dreams declared to make his second appearance on Monday
The club's three-year-old gelding made his debut last month over the same trip at Thirsk on soft ground, finishing fourth, six and-a-half lengths behind the eventual winner.
He finished strongly in a group of three that chased home the winner, all of whom were well clear of the rest of the field. The winner that day, Never So Brave, has backed up that performance since, winning a valuable Class 2 Handicap during Chester's May Meeting last week.
Trainer Sean Quinn told us in his post-race update that he was very impressed by Phoenix Of Dreams' debut, and that although he had shown the ability at home, that they believed he might need more experience on the track.
