We’re excited to announce that Annie Mc has officially been declared for the Yorkshire Silver Vase Mares’ Chase (15:10) at Doncaster on Thursday 29th December – a race she won by 16 lengths back in 2020.

She’s set to face four rivals under the ride of Jonjo O’Neill Jr, two of those being Zambella and Maid O’Malley who finished ahead of her on her reappearance at Carlisle exactly a month today. As we know, that was Annie’s first run in almost a year, and reports from Jackdaws Castle meant we knew that she would need the run that day. What was very pleasing to see at Carlisle was that she jumped very well for the most part and certainly still looked to have a spring in her step, so we’re hopeful that she will strip much fitter on Thursday and be able to show an improved performance.

The other two opponents to complete the field are Pink Legend from the Venetia Williams stable and Jemima P for Emma Lavelle.

The declaration is great news for our 10 owners for the day who were the lucky winners in our most recent competition and have the chance to attend Doncaster on Thursday to receive the ultimate owners experience.
