Aspire To Glory has been declared to give the Club a Boxing Day runner at Wolverhampton in the Class 6 Handicap (17:40) over seven furlongs.

Our three-year-old was only seen in action last Thursday when finishing 8th at Chelmsford, but despite the end result, the way he travelled that day gave trainer Alice Haynes plenty of belief that the step back down to seven furlongs from a mile could give him a big chance of going close if finding the right opportunity soon enough.

Jockey Darragh Keenan echoed that sentiment and after the contest at Chelmsford told Alice that Aspire To Glory moved great, but just felt the mile stretched him, which makes sense as all of his best and winning form so far has come over 7f.
