WATCH: Aspire To Glory fights back to finish third at Kempton after a difficult start | Raceday Highlights
The club's three-year-old gelding ended up going off as the 5/2 favourite after winning his previous two outings in some style. However, the race didn't get off to an ideal start as he broke slowly out of the stalls and was left six to eight lengths behind at the rear of the field.
He managed to make good progress as the race continued, and after they turned into the home straight, he ran on well through the middle of the pack, eventually finishing just three lengths behind the well-handicapped winner in third place.
Following the race, Alice spoke to the Coral Racing Club team and said "Considering how much ground he gave up at the start, he's done very well to finish as close as he did. He's without a doubt going to be winning more races."
