Aspire To Glory has come out of his Chelmsford race really well. As always we give our horses a quiet couple of days following a race and as long as they show all the right signs – eating all their food as normal being a main one – we know they’ve taken the experience well.
As a result of him being well, we've entered him at Yarmouth on Thursday 6th July in a six furlong maiden. Yarmouth is a lovely track to run horses at and lots of Newmarket trainers run nice types there, so this will be a good continuation of his education before he heads into nurseries.
We were pleased with his development from first to second start, and obviously he’s been gelded between the two runs also, so there is good reason to believe he is the type to keep improving with his racing. He ran a bit free early on at Chelmsford and Thore [Hammer Hansen] wasn’t hard on him later in the race, but with more experience he should learn to settle and conserve his energy.
