Cast No Shadow is in good form at home and I’m very happy with his progress.
He’s been back on the gallops doing some steady cantering and he seems to be over his sore shins which is good to see.
The plan is to do some fast work this week with him just to see how he’s moving and make sure he isn’t feeling anything, but the signs are certainly positive.
He’s spent plenty of time on the walker and in the swimming pool, so we’ve managed to keep him relatively fit in the time he’s been off the track, and I’m looking forward to finally seeing him back on the racecourse.
We haven’t looked at the programme or picked any targets out as of yet, so we’ll just see how he gets on when we ask a few more questions of him this week then we can plan from there.
