WATCH: Conservative finishes 3rd at Doncaster to land £1,110 for lucky Owners for the Day
We were delighted to see Conservative put the run he had at Doncaster back in April well behind him and prove that a combination of race fitness and having his preferred ground could allow him to show his true ability.
Another step up in trip could be on the cards for him next because since coming out of the race well on Saturday, Scott has already entered him in the 18:45 Middle Distance Handicap at Beverley over 1m4f on Sunday 11th June.
Be sure to keep an eye out for the next Owner for the Day competition for your chance to head to Conservative's next race as one of his owners.
Conservative has now finished in the top four on three different occasions from just six runs so far for the Coral Racing Club, and we're all hopeful he can go one step better soon in securing that elusive first victory for the club.
Watch our latest video to catch up on the key raceday highlights from Doncaster on Saturday, including a post-race interview with jockey Phil Dennis.
