Hey Day Baby has been putting in some solid work at Jackdaws Castle ahead of her potential return to the racetrack for the Coral Racing Club.

Our mare was due to run at Wincanton on Thursday, but as a result of the freezing temperatures, that meeting was cancelled shortly after final declarations were made on Tuesday. 

Trainer Jonjo O'Neill didn't struggle to find a replacement entry for her however, and she was promptly entered in the 14:15 Mares' Novices' Hurdle at Warwick on Monday 22nd January. 

Initially, the plan was to send her back out at the start of February following a long lay-off after she picked up a knock last summer, however, she has returned to form at home quicker than Jonjo O'Neill anticipated, so the decision was made to bring forward her return to the track.
