WATCH: A jockey's story with Kieran O'Neill
In our latest exclusive video, we catch up with Kieran O'Neill, the man who's ridden almost 600 winners for more than 500 trainers across the UK & Ireland in his twelve year career so far as a jockey.
Kieran first made his move into racing at the age of 17 when he attended racing school in Ireland – an age which is perhaps a little later than most young jockeys nowadays, but that didn't stop him from progressing quickly through the ranks.
In 2011 he moved to England to work for Richard Hannon Snr, and in his first season he notched up an impressive 67 winners in total.
Over the years Kieran has ridden for many trainers, but most recently he's been working very closely with Coral Racing Club trainer, Alice Haynes, and it's fair to say they're enjoying quite the successful partnership together.
Tune in as we go behind-the-scenes at Alice's yard in Newmarket to find out more about Kieran's story.
