Lady Mendoza has been declared to run at Newcastle in the Mares' Handicap Hurdle at 14:50 on Tuesday 16th May, with reigning Champion Jockey Brian Hughes booked to ride for the first time.

She’s set to make her handicap debut off a mark of 100, with the recently crowned Champion Jockey Brian Hughes in the saddle who will be looking to guide her to her first win for the club.

It's fantastic news for the 10 Owner for a Day competition winners who will get free racecourse entry, access to the Owners & Trainers enclosure, have the chance to meet Lady Mendoza & the Rebecca Menzies team, plus each get to take home a 10% share of any prize money she wins.
