All is good with Lady Mendoza at the moment as we’ve just been keeping her ticking over.

Annoyingly we haven’t had enough rain up her to school her over fences, but there is plenty forecast next week so hopefully we can pop her over a few then.

We are in the process of installing an all-weather schooling gallop, but it won’t be ready until the end of the summer. That should be in place ready for the start of the jumps season which will make our life much easier when we are bringing some of our jumpers back from their summer break.

I’m confident Lady Mendoza will be absolutely fine over her fences as she jumped well in her point-to-point win, we just want to pop her over a few here, then all being well we can find a suitable novice handicap for her and hopefully she’ll get her first win for us!
