Phoenix Of Dreams maturing both mentally and physically ahead of planned Spring debut
Phoenix Of Dreams had a little slip at home at the end of last week and give himself a bit of a cut on one of his legs.
The leg is fine thankfully, and he just required a few butterfly stitches to allow it to heal properly. He’s still able to walk perfectly well, we’ve just had to give him a week off from his work, but these things do happen, and thankfully he hasn’t seriously injured himself.
We are still working towards the spring with him, so we have plenty of time and there’s no need to rush him at all. He’s improving and strengthening up all the time, and he’s a fine big horse who we are really looking forward to getting onto the racecourse. He really seems to be maturing mentally too, so hopefully he can give us plenty of good days throughout the summer.
His work at home has really been pleasing us, so we’re looking forward to cracking on with him again, and we’ll keep everybody updated with his progress over the coming weeks and months.
