I’m happy to say Rockstar Icon is over the slight issue he had with sore shins.

As we said at the time it wasn’t anything to cause us much concern, and an easy couple of weeks was the answer. He’s back cantering now and is showing no effects of the shin issue at all, so we’re all systems go again.

He’s growing up all the time and is physically developing into a really nice young horse. In a matter of weeks he really has grown and that’s really why the sore shins happened, they were the growing pains that we talked about. The way he’s developing overall is lovely to see, it’s a real positive.

Now he is back in work, we’re probably three to four weeks off his third run. His second run at Haydock was a big step forward from his debut and the horse that finished third at Haydock has come out and won at Chester, so that was a nice form boost, and just makes our fellow’s next run all the more exciting.
