We've had a bit of a setback with Rockstar Icon as he has a hairline fracture in his shin, which means he is going to be in his box for the next four weeks, with the view to give him an x-ray at the end of that period.

It is very disappointing and frustrating as we were looking forward to running him again after that promising performance at Haydock back in June.

It was impossible to have foreseen this as he had been sound throughout the start of the season. These sorts of things are common with two-year-olds during their growing period.

Despite this setback, he is looking well, eating up and he doesn’t seem in pain. Once he has completed his box rest, hopefully, it won’t have set up back too much, and he can improve again on the track at the back end of the season.
