Sycamore is on course to make his return to the racecourse next week at Nottingham next week.

You may have noticed that I gave him an entry at Newmarket on Saturday, however, on reflection, I’ve decided we will give that race a miss. It looks quite strong, so I’d prefer to wait until next week for the Nottingham assignment over the extended one mile trip.

I could not be happier with Sycamore at home. He has looked very sharp in all of his workouts over the last couple of weeks. We have had to stay patient with him with regards to the ground, but he should get his ideal conditions next week at Nottingham.

I’ll make the entry on Friday and provide an update next week once I have looked at the opposition that he will be up against.
