Diamond Days is set to make his hurdle debut on Sunday, as trainer, Joe Tizzard, has declared him in the opening race on the card at Fontwell.

After making his racecourse debut at the end of last month, Joe Tizzard decided that he would be better suited going straight over hurdles in his next contest, as opposed to leaving him in bumpers. He should have benefitted from his Wincanton run, but he'll be able to learn more from going hurdling sooner.

We haven't had to wait long for this to happen, as the team at Venn Farm identified a suitable race at Fontwell this weekend.
