Diamond Days is a five-year-old gelding that was purchased by Joe, Peter and Ross Doyle for €35,000 at the 2023 Tattersalls Ireland Derby sale. His sire, Diamond Boy, was a Listed winner over 1m 6f in France, and his progeny include Grade One winners L’Homme Presse and Impaire Et Passe.

He made his debut in a bumper in October 2024 and went on to run five times over hurdles with his best effort coming at Lingfield where he finished 2nd in January. For his second season he is likely to stay over hurdles as a novice and will hopefully progress through the ranks as he continues to gain more experience.
